Situated in beautiful southeastern Yukon on the secluded shore of Frances Lake, our lodge offers visitors unparalleled opportunities for exploring the wilderness of the Rocky Mountain foothills or just relaxing in the solitude of this unrivalled natural setting.

The lodge consists of the main log cabin and five lovingly-crafted log guest cabins. Meals are served in the main lodge-where our chef will gladly prepare your catch for dinner-and guests are welcome anytime to peruse the many northern books in the library or simply relax in the bright, cozy living room. Guest cabins strike the perfect balance between rustic pleasures and modern comforts: wood stoves and kerosene lamps provide heat and light the old-fashioned way, yet each cabin is equipped with portable flush toilets and comfortable beds with fresh linen and warm quilts. All guest cabins afford beautiful lake views and are within easy walking distance of the main lodge.

Guests - and there are only a few at a time - also have access to a hot shower and a four-person wood-heated sauna, located in a separate log building.

Many of our guests return year after year, proving that fishermen, photographers, painters, birdwatchers, hikers, paddlers, and wildlife observers alike are all seduced by the rare beauty of Frances Lake Wilderness Lodge. Come to the lodge and discover the magic of a true wilderness getaway!
