Frances Lake Wilderness Lodge
Frances Lake Wilderness Lodge

Our Wilderness Trips

Experience the diverse and largely untouched wilderness of the southeast Yukon on a guided canoe or hiking trip with us. Unique multi-day excursions will take you to remote lakes, down unknown rivers and along mystic trails. We are very familiar with the land and waterways of the area, and will gladly share our knowledge of nature and history with you. On our tours, we will be travelling in small groups of like-minded people, and we'll have plenty of time to experience the many pleasures of the region. We will sleep in tents, cook over an open fire and experience sun, wind and weather first-hand. There is always a chance of rewarding animal encounters, as the tour passes by pristine lakes, rivers and mountains day after day, on a journey that will become an unforgettable experience of a lifetime. You also can spend some relaxing days in the comfort of the lodge before or after your trip.

Your full enjoyment, safety and comfort is our primary motivation and concern, therefore:
  • all tours are personally guided by lodge owners Andrea and/or Martin Laternser
  • we are experienced, licensed wilderness guides and First Aid-certified
  • we only take small groups (a maximum of 7 guests on each trip)

Are you interested in a trip but the dates don't work? Ask us about a customized plan, as we can often adapt our itineraries to meet your needs.
